hey
so has anyone else noticed that their magic is all fucked up?
if you're not used to magic it'd be sweet if we could skip past the whole disbelief and shock part of this convo
i'm a wizard and it's cool as hell and i don't have a big white beard and now we're moving on
anyway my point is, nothing but the bonfire and lanterns seems to be casting any light
i figured maybe the darkness here was caused by a spell, but i have fire and light spells that are supposed to work anyway and they're not
so i guess my question is if anyone has spells or magic that are actually casting light
everything else i've tried casting has worked fine

i thought it might be a spell too, but i can't figure out how to dispell it without more information. that's if it's a spell at all.

my magic isn't casting any light either.

fire. illumination. they don't produce any actual light.

it's definitely not normal darkness, which makes me think the bonfire isn't normal fire either. same with the lanterns.

i've never heard of anything like it.

not just the magic. smartphone from home and this new tablet, neither throw any illumination outside the screen. it's just enough for the screens to function and be read but past that nada

i would say this isn't how light works but
i'm assuming you got the bonfire tutorial [ god knows the squawking was loud enough ]

I've no magic of any sort to call my own, but I have noticed my lighter won't function. However, my service pistol seems to fire all right and my cigarettes burn, so it does not appear to be a matter of combustion.

I don't have magic but I noticed my arc energy doesn't cast a light too. Every time I summon it, it looks really.

my powers, hex magic, whatever people like to call it — they always glow shades of red, very bright. i send blasts of energy that look like fireballs. now everything is... flat. there is some muted color when i use my hands, but no light cast beyond the immediate space of my fingers.

everything is smothered.
