@daylit; audio.
Hey guys! So, I made a post about studying the language a month or so, right? I made progress on it! Not a lot of progress but some progress? With words and everything? Got a few phrases and descriptives and stuff like that!
Hmmm... It'll be easier to explain this if I demonstrated it to you guys, right? Right- I'll use the ocarina for this but, um, I promise, we'll try to transcribe the melodies to other instruments soon. Anyways-
[ daylight then proceeds to play a series of melodies and notes, taking his time to explain what they mean and how to play it on the ocarina.
when he finishes his little demo, he continues talking: ] Later, in the day, I'll add all of this stuff to the spirit language app we have on the tablet here. So you guys can practice it for yourselves if you want to do that.
And... Um... For the next few months, I'll be more focused on trying to crack the grammar of the spirits' language since I think the lexicon - I think that means the total words and stuff? (sorry, grandma!) - is robust enough that I don't need to keep digging for new combinations to the phonetics anymore.
So yeah... That's it! If you guys, like, have questions about how to play the music and, er, stuff- Let me know? I'll try to answer what I can.

Yes, I speak French! My mom's side of the family hail from French and they were very proud of their roots. It was, in a way, required for me to learn the language when I was growing up and being raised by my family.
Especially when Great Grandpa was still alive. He was determined to get me to speak it when I was old enough to comprehend human speech.

Is it your first language then?

he replies back, a little less formal now since he's getting to the groove of writing in french after so long. ]
Yes! It's considered my main language - Alongside with English and Basic Binary. (And, between you and me, I like French more because it sounds fancier and cooler when I speak it. Don't tell anyone!)
Grandma and Great Grandpa did what they could to make sure I learned it but I never got much of a chance to really speak-speak or write-write with anyone about it until now. This is super exciting! I didn't know others knew French too!

Crowley knows French as well, as does Javert! I'm sure they would both be delighted to speak it with you.

And if Mr. Crowley and Mr. Javert are open to that notion than I am too. I would love for more chances to speak the language of my mom.

Yes, of course. I'm sure Javert would appreciate finding more people to speak to him in his native language as well! We must try.

Oh! What good fortune- I came across Mr. Javert once! Only for a while but he made an impression on him He comes across as a very responsible and sensible individual.
I'll definitely write to him and Mr. Crowley soon. Do you think they'll mind if I sent them correspondence one of these days? You seem to know them better.
