@daylit; audio.
Hey guys! So, I made a post about studying the language a month or so, right? I made progress on it! Not a lot of progress but some progress? With words and everything? Got a few phrases and descriptives and stuff like that!
Hmmm... It'll be easier to explain this if I demonstrated it to you guys, right? Right- I'll use the ocarina for this but, um, I promise, we'll try to transcribe the melodies to other instruments soon. Anyways-
[ daylight then proceeds to play a series of melodies and notes, taking his time to explain what they mean and how to play it on the ocarina.
when he finishes his little demo, he continues talking: ] Later, in the day, I'll add all of this stuff to the spirit language app we have on the tablet here. So you guys can practice it for yourselves if you want to do that.
And... Um... For the next few months, I'll be more focused on trying to crack the grammar of the spirits' language since I think the lexicon - I think that means the total words and stuff? (sorry, grandma!) - is robust enough that I don't need to keep digging for new combinations to the phonetics anymore.
So yeah... That's it! If you guys, like, have questions about how to play the music and, er, stuff- Let me know? I'll try to answer what I can.

There's, like, so many cool designs and stuff. I was lucky to find one that I can kind of fiddle without fear of it getting crushed. [ rest in peace.... the other ocarinas.... ]

[And music is one of his strong points. Finally, a hobby.]

[ daylight is more than happy to help someone out, especially if it was about music.
he's not an expert at ocarina or, really, anything music-wise but he's decent enough thanks to auntie chris and the others in his life. ]
When do you want to meet up for music lessons? I'm available around the afternoon, except during Spirit Day which is usually Friday or Saturday.

[As a musician, he's down for a jam session every day. It's not a jazz-rock band, but it's better than wandering the village.]
There's a Spirit Day?

I like to visit certain friends every week to check up on them and see if they're okay. As an attempt to keep in contact with them, you know?

Hm...do they live in the forest, or are you talking about the ones in the shops?

[ daylight is more than happy to provide details about the friendly spirits here. ] I visit the Postmaster General at the post office and the Friend Under the Basement at the Church but those two? I have to go to certain parts of the secured woods to see them.
Totally worth it too, in my opinion. If you ever want to find someone musical to jam out with- I totally recommend the Greatest Crooners. They're, er, the greatest crooners I've come across since the scavenging hunt!

But do they sing in spirit language or in human language?

concentrate on the conversation, daylight. ] They're really friendly so don't feel shy in dropping by their neck of the woods. They're not hard to miss since I gave them a medal and they have, um, lots of heads. Lots of them.
