[there's a bit of a pause before the calm, mellifluous voice begins - he doesn't know the etiquette here. Oh well here goes.]
This is Cao Pi, styled Zihuan, Lord of Wei. I have spoken to few of you here, as of yet, but I hope you will indulge me for a moment. I feel this is important, given the extensive list of casualties in the bulletin yesterday.
Even with the guidance of the experienced residents and a valuable goal, things did not go so well. A number of problems have surfaced, exposing us for the weak and inexperienced fools we are in this land of the dead. Things must change, not the least of which is organization. I have...what you may call some experience in that realm. [dryly with a touch of sarcasm. Yo I'm an emperor in some timelines I got your organization right here] I would like to suggest to the community at large that we gather to discuss our options going forward. Not using this technology, no...I feel that seeing one another face to face goes much further toward fostering community and building trust in one another.
If I understand things right, the next ferry should arrive in a few days. I offer this idea: the day after, everyone keen on sharing ideas for how to prepare ourselves for future disasters should meet in the town hall, so as to include any newcomers. It is not, I am sorry to say, a party. This is a time to unite and share our thoughts and our skills so that we do not end up with another round of chaos like the attacks which ended the party and took so many of those who went out into the forest. Many of you are capable and strong; we cannot afford to sit around and idly muse on possible ways to protect the town and each other in private any longer. For better or worse we are a town unto ourselves, and we must work together.
Then, when the crescent moon rises on the second day of the month, let us meet in the town hall. What say you?
[he leaves the floor open to discuss his idea. If anyone texts him he'll text back but man talking at people is so much easier for a third century dude. Also, he likes to hear himself talk if this post is any indication]

Agreed. This is the sort of situation where we are going to have to start viewing each other as allies in a coalition, if nothing else. To continue to go it alone will only worsen the chaos until we're all dead - at her hands if nothing else.
You and I traded messages at her appearance the other day. I believe you have a keen grasp on the situation, young master.

Young master tho? That's not a title for him.]
Please, call me just Ignis.
I am not sure I have all the threads of the situation in my hand, but I know a few simple facts- whatever efforts we poured into befriending spirits have disappeared. Only a handful of spirits in town trust us now. We killed a lot of the others and I am sure some will hold an immense grudge over us for it. The foghorn effectively destroyed what little trust we managed to instill in them.
The other is that there won't ever be a whole unity here. Right now I cannot tell if that's good or bad but so long we don't turn on each other- or at the Keeper- we have a chance at something. But having people with different opinions is always a good thing. It makes us observe our decisions and act on the best one.
I do not know what to make of the Keeper past the fact that she sounds young, rash and somewhat immature.
[And he's dealt with a handful of immature people. He's the advisor of one.]

True. I myself had enough of a hand in the killing but any good warrior knows it's pointless to stand there and let them kill you in the interest of appearing 'good.' It will take time to restore any relationship but so long as we don't go on another killing spree, it should help.
As to unity, it doesn't have to be single-mindedness. A unity of action is far more important, especially if we are to have some task to complete. She mentioned bringing light, but naturally nothing of what that means or how we are to accomplish it. In the short term, it is also essential to have a cohesive plan to protect ourselves, evacuate, handle disasters, and so on.

It was positively heartwrenching raising a hand at the spirits that were having so much fun only mere seconds ago.
[Noctis was one of those that initially refused to fight back. It needed a bit of convincing.]
If we do not earn their trust, we will never be able to advance further and away from the bonfire.
But I do agree that we need a safe place to evacuate to should some things go awry in our attempts. There were many mentions of people turning against each other on that post from the Keeper. I wonder why would people do that...? No one gains from killing each other except for this darkness that persists.
Hopefully, Doc Ingram will have something to go on from here.

His information will come just before this meeting, it should provide interesting discussion if not new ideas entirely.

For now, we will have to accept the state of things as they are, considering she is the only one with information beyond what we know.

[though they are getting dangerously close to things that would be better discussed in person rather than where the subject of their complaints can hear it]

[Keeper's help or no.]
