I'm a chancellor.

Now, what would you have expected me to be?

Given you keep to yourself so much, a less public figure. Someone comfortable enough with the darker side of civilization. And I don't mean that in an accusatory way, you could be law enforcement, or an investigator of some sort.

Chancellor though, huh. Weird question maybe, but what's that even like?

The parties are lively and the conversation is dull. I make a good show of it, of course, as I must.

Would it surprise you to know that I was a fair bit more gregarious at home than I have been here?

I've just been out of sorts lately.

Plenty here aren't. Ask around, see what people need. Help out at the lab, we sure as hell could use it.

Not by a long shot, but still, some weeks here are better than others. Nothing tried to eat me this week, for example.

Ah, yes, the carnival... I'm afraid it passed me by. How was it?

It was entertaining. Certainly interesting. I had no idea spirits would be so fond of stuffed toys. [ or have little clue or care for personal space but that's neither here nor there. ]

The attraction that caught my interest the most was the fortune-teller booth. It was strange but enlightening. I've read in the archived posts that these sorts of things usually have a side-effect, yet nothing has happened to me. Good luck, perhaps?

Yes. I always have a snack for the junkyard dog. Check on the spirit at the radio tower. When MewTwo lived at the armory I would stop in to say hello.
