Well, it might if you saw anything of interest along the way. Hard to tell what might be helpful until we investigate it further.

Do you remember seeing anything in particular? Where did you find your torch?

Past the greenhouse. [ she'd had to look at the map to get what the name of the giant glass house was. not for his sake, since she doesn't know he's blind, but she's trying to familiarize herself with modern everything. ] Everything leading to it looked overgrown, like it was the first time anyone had been there in a while, but people had definitely been there once. There was a path that was just barely visible.

[ ah, where'd she'd found it. here's where things get gross. ]

It was inside a tree that had been glowing right before some kind of creature tore it in half and started eating what was inside. I picked it up and brought it back to town.

Any of that sound significant to you?

Well, unexplored forest that we haven't combed over might be worth another check. There might be something out there worth finding.

Was the spirit hostile toward you?

( because something that can tear apart trees and especially one willing to cannibalize other spirits sounds a little questionable. )

It might have been if I'd stuck around long enough for it to notice me, but I don't think it did while I was there.

Spirits willing to eat other spirits are likely just as willing to eat us. I'm glad you got out of there safely.

Other than that, I can't say the description narrows things down for me any. But for lack of other options, it wouldn't be a horrible thing to keep pushing on in that direction, and see what's out there. Just... maybe not alone, if there's a potentially dangerous spirit there.

It seemed like it was more hungry for something a lot smaller than me, but thanks.

I could probably find it again if I needed to, but it didn't look like it lead anywhere significant. All I could find was the tree and the path.

If it's uncharted territory, it might be worth exploring. If not now, then later.

There's still so much of this place we don't know. And there's at least a chance there's something useful out there, if we dig far enough to find it.
