A door from the study connects to a short underground passage, which in turn connects to the room labeled WORKSHOP. The other rooms lie adjacent to it except for the DEVICE TESTING room which is yet another level below. There is a door on the east wall of the workshop which is labeled EXIT but the map does not continue past the door itself.]

the longest span of time dr. solis has been absent from the house and laboratory on an unscheduled retrieval task was [64.167] hours!

she told me about it after because it was very annoying to her that a lantern and body would be so hard to find but the spirits had half-digested the person already and their lantern had rolled down into the lake by the EUTHANASIA COASTER and was wedged under some rocks so finding and retrieving it was very very hard! she is very dedicated to keeping all of you alive

if a lantern was broken, sometimes it could be put back together! this is a very difficult task with a high chance of failure

currently dr. solis' body is completely vanished and her lantern is very quiet and it has been [THREE] days and if her body is vanished she cannot put herself back together at all :(

dr. solis has a special kind of lantern! it has the ability to put itself back together if broken under typical circumstances
also she had a lot of experience and caution and experience and caution and experience and caution

but even the best people can make mistakes sometimes when they think it is worth taking a risk to right their own wrongs :(

the stated goal of the [0205XXXX.PORTALEXPERIMENT] series was to isolate a "back door"! in the event that a reset became unfeasible through loss of the Lighthouse Keeper then there might be a way to send all of you through an emergency exit to [LOCATION UNDEFINED] so you could continue your work because you are the best hope BEACON has ever had of returning to life!

dr. solis initiated emergency response protocols at 0130 on 02.05.2054 in case of experimental error

i wish i knew more about the outside so i could help more! i've told all of you everything i know about where i am :( and also how to unlock the doors! i wish i could be more direct but dr. solis always said to be really careful and not go on the network at all unless it's an emergency and this is an emergency!! i know it's an emergency because the EMERGENCY PROTOCOLS tell me it is! :(

no, the lanterns can only be re-lit with one of the machines here! you put a lantern on it and attach a VESSEL and . . .

well dr. solis used to push some buttons and it lit up!! i don't actually know how it works but you are all smart! i love having smart friends! !!!

VESSELS can be all kinds of things that have a connection to the SPIRIT and the LANTERN from what i have seen!

most of the time a body, but sometimes a hand or hair or teeth or whatever else was left! a couple times dr. solis even had to bring in a FOREST SPIRIT but i think those were very rare extreme cases as i have only seen it happen a few times! it was not very fun! they do not like being dragged in and used for post-mortal revival very much
