if you just want to check it out quick, i could teleport the two of us there and back no problem
if you want to take a group, i could do it, but i'd need to rest before teleporting everyone back
i could try to make a bridge, too, but that would last like
a day at most probably
and a river monster might eat us while we cross it knowing our luck

But! I want to help out! I can generate a force field if that's worth something? I could try to shield lanterns when crossing the waters, so they don't go out.

there's an old rail bridge that crosses over a ways inland from the docks. it's pretty badly rotted out, but it could probably be built back up as a semi-permanent crossing.
