there's an old rail bridge that crosses over a ways inland from the docks. it's pretty badly rotted out, but it could probably be built back up as a semi-permanent crossing.

that's an option. the river's about fifteen feet across. doesn't seem to be anything on the other side that we can tell yet.

gap's about five feet. even accounting for parts of the remaining structure that are too unstable to use, it might be easier to span.

between the trees and the darkness, you could probably have times square on the other side and not know it until you were almost on top of it.
