Hey. Hope you're all staying safe. It's icy out there.

The Postmaster gave me a package. Couldn't tell you who sent it but I think there's been a mistake. This was inside.

[ There's a picture attached of a yarn snowman wearing a knit black cap and black and white knitted scarf with green buttons for eyes. It's pretty cute... ]

Does this belong to anyone?

One more thing.

The movie theater downtown has a stage and multiple film projectors. Big library of films too. The spirits working the concession counter seem okay too.

Only problem is it needs power. Take a look at this.

[ The attached picture shows five slots that look like they could fit a big square car battery or something like it. ]

Not exactly urgent. Still, a movie sometimes might not be too bad.

Cast a Thunder spell.

[ There's very few here that even know Riku can cast magical spells, and the few who do only know because he's used curative magic on them at some point or another. He doesn't just whip out his keyblade and start throwing his proverbial supernatural weight around, there's a certain security in not showing what he's capable of, too. For over seven months, that's been true.

The projectors started to run. There was no picture. Maybe a bulb burnt out. I don't know.

When you cast your magic, do the effects last, or is it a momentary, high-burst charge?

In any case, my wildest hypothesis is finding parts in the scrapyard to build a battery and trying to charge it with your magic could work.

That depends if it can hold a charge.

[ RPG puzzle mechanics are a bitch to explain. ]

I'm not the only one who can charge them up either. That's a good idea.

Is the theatre very dangerous to go to? I'd like to get a look at that power box and maybe draw up some plans for that battery.

Only dangerous if that gang of spirits is parading in the area...
It was when we went, we almost lost a few of us. I guess even hearing them at a distance can have a potent effect. Bring some kind of earplugs.

Oh, no. You mean the Parade, right?

[equinoctials]

Yeah. The parade? That's it.

[uplifters]

Noted. I’ll be careful about that…

Besides the Parade, though, it should be relatively safe to go?

Think so. The spirits inside weren't aggressive. It's dark in there, I'd bring a torch.
