Hello there, everyone, this is Aziraphale. With the advent of the Songbird on our devices, I was hoping to ask you all a favor. Or, well, it's more like a proposal, really. If people with musical talents could volunteer their time, we could record some songs with our devices and publish them for public listening on the why-fye.

I was also wondering if anyone here was familiar with the work of someone called Freddie Mercury, or perhaps one of the Velvet Undergrounds? They are performers from Earth, somewhere in the latter half of the 20th century or early 21st century. I would like to make a personal request that we could make some of their music available post-haste!

I admit that I have very little to offer in this project, myself. However, if anyone is interested in book passage recitations, I would be delighted to take requests, provided I'm familiar with the material!

[ Additional note: Aziraphale has intended to filter this message to everyone except for Crowley to be able to see it, but he has messed up and just made it open. ]

[He recognizes Freddie Mercury. Verity shared some of Earth's popular music when she was living on his ship, and his name was brought up in a list of skilled performers. There were other songs that he had downloaded: crooners and boy bands and jazz and classical Cybertronian music. All of that gone, abandoned in his office. The only source of music is whatever the ferry brings and the collections hidden in the downtown shopping center.

Some music would help with the darkness.

The problem was that in order to help Arizaphale, he would first have to admit one of his secret hobbies. The solution was to offer his suggestion in a roundabout way.]

How do you plan to download music from various planets when we do not have network access to our collections? There are hundreds of thousands that each person can offer, especially considering that I have seen many popular lists in my 5 million years of functioning.

[Not specifying anything in particular...nothing damning about mentioning that you've lived a long time and don't have just one or two pieces in mind.]

In that case, we would have to request music collections from the Night Market. Is my assumption incorrect?

[Seeing that name - his name, the one that was passed onto him - puts him at ease. He’s still the fearsome lawyer and Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord. This does not worry him.]

Pluto claims to bring items from our homes. If she keeps to her word - which we shall see this month - then we know to ask her.

I have not requested anything. This is simply from what I heard from those that had requested items from Pluto before I arrived.

It seems not everyone asked for something.

What sort of wishes do you mean?

[This is starting to sound very illegal.]
legalcy: (🎡 are you okay)

I feel as if you are either unsure of what others have requested or if you are deliberately hiding the details.

If they have caused you harm, I will not have you face consequences.

I see that this will not be easy mission.

[It never is. There's so much work to do.]

These "tolls" that the merchants request do not improve my impression of them.
