Rosinante, General Hughes, and I went searching for the downtown area some had seen in their dreams, following the map that was created. We found it, but we found something else as well.

[Faint in the background is music, it sounds like they might be being pursued by a marching band. There's also hooting, hollering and sounds of general shenanigans in the distance.]

There is a group of forest spirits in some sort of a parade. They are heading towards town. We are trying to get back ahead of them, but if we do not, something is wrong about this. There's a sense of ... wanting to follow them.

Stay wary.

We heard the music first and then went to investigate. After we realized what was happening, and where they were headed, we left before trying anything else.

The compulsion didn't start until we were closer though, it might have some visual component too.

Yes we seemed to be. If General Hughes hadn't been able to teleport us away there's no telling what might have happened.

That's true, it may be an aura around them rather than only the music. There'd be ways to test that now that we know it's happening and where they are, if anyone is willing to risk it.

It sounds like a worthwhile endeavor, but one best not undertaken alone.

[ Castiel has no qualms about risking himself - he's not as willing to risk others. Howeer, an effect such as this seems... ill-fated to be investigated alone. ]

No. My main concern is that someone will take it upon themselves to rush out and investigate and we'll never hear from them again.

There are many fates worse than death.

Unfortunately with the huge gaps we have in our collective knowledge it's hard to make any decisions based on it.

It's true. And it goes both ways, not everyone comes to the town halls either even when information is being freely traded.

Maybe some don't want to know? Or think they already know enough.
