AUDIO; @badeaux | possible cw for mentions of sensory and memory loss in comments
[ hi everyone; here's a first time poster to the network. she usually prefers to not be seen OR heard, but given recent events she figured it would be beneficial to issue a warning to those who don't already know about what she's about to tell them. ]
I'm sure anyone who participated is already well aware of this, but as it turns out, asking the machine for details, whatever they are, leads to varying consequences. You can decide for yourself whether or not what it tells you is worth whatever it decides to take from you, but if you'd prefer not to be messed with any further than we've already been, I'd advise staying away from it when the market comes back around.

[ if this is the reaction she gets when she tries to do good why does she bother smh ]

i thought we were talking viscera on the floor instead of inside of you style consequence, not a stuffy nose

what did it tell you?
no subject
Nothing helpful except that it sources its answers via "magic".
no subject
what did it do to you?

But why are you sorry if you had nothing to do with the machine or what it took?

[Jo didn't ask anything of it, but she had considered it. It does seem like it might not be worth it.]

Like, taking away someone's sense of smell? [Hopefully just that simple.]

[ it wouldn't surprise her if it were, but she's trying not to think about that. ]
did you ask it anything?
no subject
It gave me exactly the answer I wanted so I sort of assumed it was lying, but yes.
no subject
i hope it was worth it. [ however that comes across, she means it sincerely. (as sincerely as she ever means anything.) ]
