[ hi everyone; here's a first time poster to the network. she usually prefers to not be seen OR heard, but given recent events she figured it would be beneficial to issue a warning to those who don't already know about what she's about to tell them. ]

I'm sure anyone who participated is already well aware of this, but as it turns out, asking the machine for details, whatever they are, leads to varying consequences. You can decide for yourself whether or not what it tells you is worth whatever it decides to take from you, but if you'd prefer not to be messed with any further than we've already been, I'd advise staying away from it when the market comes back around.

i wasn't calling its integrity into question. the question is whether that truth was worth anything, even minus the unfortunate effects.

well, you've just answered it for them. i suppose it should also be said that whatever they ask should be very specific if they want an answer that actually IS worth it.

No sense of smell. [ also: heart intermittently stopping and a poltergeist but like, let's not talk about that. ] Which would be way more terrifying if I didn't have to deal with losing my sense of smell on an annual, wintery basis.

still, there's a difference between a sense being muted and being gone.

if you're going to make the broad update about how dire messing with this machine is, you could stand to be more specific

[ there's a bit of a delay as she debates what other effects to reveal to the public. if it were actually affecting her, she's not sure she'd want to reveal anything. matthew's a different story, but he's not exactly in the condition to warn people himself right now. ]
