I got caught up on some of the other things people said while we were out. The sleeping people never got attacked at all. Doesn't seem like we were in much danger.

Besides, I got smacked into the lake a few days ago and came back just fine. Apparently death doesn't stick when you're already dead.

I'm several hundred turns old and I died of old age. I'm too old to be a pessimist.

Anyway, you missed when Winters was here. He had enough signs of what happens if you die too often.

As far as I can tell, I'm the only one here who didn't die from violence.

Maybe other people dying of old age or sickness wouldn't be as useful to the purpose here. Even dying, I can still shapeshift and fly, and get around, even if I tired more easily than I used to.

You don't think finding out why we're brought back to life here, and not other people, isn't important? I'd think knowing that would go a long way towards finding out what good we're supposed to do, exactly.

It was his attempt to not pay me an actual bonus. I think his understanding of a fair wage peaked at the same time as the introduction of the general minimum wage. He's a delicate soul, is our Jonah.
