So, who spent a solid two weeks asleep last month?
And question for them. Was the food worth it?

an earth? why are they talking about the 1900s? he liked it better when this was "purgatory" and not, potentially... earth. the months he was willing to chalk up to a million and one chance. but the years too? really? he could actually date things that would be appropriate for the 1970s. and that makes the secret Bruce shared even more ominous. Because that would have been straight in the middle of the cold war, if this is an earth.
what the fuck happened? ]
Interesting. So we've got an Icarus situation here, and maybe even another potential alternate Earth.
Or something that uses a very similar dating system to Earth.

It could be. But it is a wild assumption as our map of Beacon is relatively small. I have seen maps of 'Earth' in the library, and I wouldn't know where to put it there.
And last, but not least, there was a program installed on the computer. The 'sun.exe'. I have a good reason to suspect that it virtually killed me as I activated it, as my memory comes to a stop there. So, a fair warning if you come across anything similar to not turn it on.
I opened it under the assumption that it will present me with a model, an idea, of restoring the sun in the skies, but, alas.

[ he's not casting aspersions on any of this. just commenting idly. ]
Part of me thinks it's too on the nose. Naming a program "sun.exe" in a world with no light. But you'd be an idiot to not try to turn it on when you're actually awake.

Ignis rubs his chin in thought.]
Trying to turn it on, even if we find it, might result in two things. One- nothing happens and the light gets extinguished in an instant. And two... it serves as an enormous flashlight for World Eaters, as they are drawn to the light. I wouldn't turn it on even if we did find it, in case we increase their advancement towards Beacon.

[ he offers a shrug. ]
Guess we should try to find the actual lab, and see what there is that the spirits didn't show us.
