[Luckily Goro was able to find some clothing when he had first arrived, but it would probably be best to think about trying to find more. More specifically, warming clothing for the weather.]

Where would a guy go to find some more clothing? I've already checked the general store, but I was hoping to find something warmer if at all possible.

[At least something besides what he arrived in.]

Oh. I guess I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Goro Akechi. I used to be a detective back home, so if you need my services, feel free to contact me whenever.

Nearby The Invincible;

[Somewhat nearby The Invincible somewhere that's not directly in view, Akechi can be seen with his lantern sitting nearby. He hadn't really tried it immediately upon arriving, but he was wondering about his Personas. It looks like he was on a cell phone, but it was really hard to see in considering the light seems to stop working since coming here. He hadn't had much use for it now, but with the help of the lantern, he navigated the smart phone (that wasn't so smart anymore). More so out of curiosity that the MetaNav could possibly work. He really doubted the Metaverse existed here, but it was worth a shot. After a few tries and "Location not found", he gave up on it, shoving his phone in his pocket. It was likely going to be useless here, but he'd tested what he wanted from it.

That did leave another question for him though. Did his Personas work here if the Metaverse most likely didn't exist here? With the MetaNav being all but useless, his curiosity wasn't quite sated. So shortly after checking his phone, he took a moment to test a theory. If you're close enough nearby, you might notice a faint glow of a giant creature. It's not visable if you're far enough away due to the eternal darkness, but if you're close enough it'll be standing behind Akechi. You'll also probably notice that his appearance has become significantly more regal looking, complete with a long, red pointed mask on.

Glancing off to the side and then to his gloved hand...]

Huh... That's intriguing. So the Metaverse most likely doesn't exist here, but I can still use Robin Hood.

[He's not talking to anyone in particular. In fact, he probably doesn't even notice any onlookers nearby. Feel free to bug him.]

He's still around. I'll use him if I need to here, but only time will tell.

[For how it sounds, things get dangerous here, so he probably will.]

You're not afraid of your skills rusting between now and the next time you need them?

["them" being both of Akechi's Personas, of course. you lose the skills you don't practice, after all]

You insult me if you think my skills will get rusty in such a small amount of time.

[Goro is pretty confident that losing his skills are unlikely. Akira is a formidable foe, but Goro wasn't exactly easy to defeat either.]

Eh. You'll survive a tiny little insult.

[though Akira was more than aware of how formidable Akechi truly was]

You're also not worried about people here knowing about your ability?

Why should I be? I use it to my advantage.

[Well, aside from Loki. Loki he's trying not to show as much. Maybe it was through habit? Maybe it was that self-image that he'd always hid behind, even in death?]

[a huffed noise, half-amused, half-exasperated]

[that seems like the most Akechi answer he can think of, honestly]

From what I've gathered, there are other people with various abilities here. Our Personas wouldn't exactly be strange here.

I met a man who could "fly", but it was more like teleportation from what I experienced.

[Akechi wasn't wrong, but for Akira, some habits were hard to break. keeping his cards close to hist chest was one of those. . . people with strange abilities or not]

[he blinks a little at what Akechi says about the teleporting man, though]

Ah? Did he teleport you somewhere?

Yeah. I was on the ferry coming in yet when he teleported me onto shore.

[well, that explains how Akechi had manged to make it to shore without getting wet]

He should start charging for his services.

[LIKE UBER. ONLY WITH TELEPORTATION]

Something tells me that he's not sure what a taxi is.

[Although, that would be pretty funny.]

Had some side effects. My stomach hurt a little for a while after it, but nothing too bad.

[blinks a bit, lifting a hand to pull his glasses down on the tip of his nose as he peers at Akechi]

Are you sure that was the only side effect? You seem to be missing an ear--

[IS HE MAKING JOKES ABOUT SPLINCHING, yes he is]

[And now Akira is just going to get the driest look from him.]

I'm pretty sure I would have noticed if I was missing an ear. [But he gets it.]

I'm pretty sure I've said nicer things than that before.

[It may have been through a facade, but nice things nonetheless.]

After all, I'm a nice guy. [Okay, that was definitely a joke.]

[bye "catch up" he means "talk about what they've learned during their time here so far."]

[And just like that, he'll appear in the clothing he found here to get him by once again.]

Catch up... You make it sound like we're friends or something..

[WHICH IS A JOKE... because he's still uncertain about whether or not to accept his offer yet.]

"Catching up" is, generally, something friends do. And if not "friends," then at least "acquaintances."

[don't be so hesitant Akechi!! but Akira turns on his heel and moves to pick up his lantern]

Is the Invincible okay?

[since it's the only place in the village Akira knows serves food]
