We're getting to that time of the year, and I'm sure most of you still look lovely in the same clothing you arrived in, but without a doubt your sundresses and polos are not sufficient for the. Well. Gradually lowering and soon to be possibly freezing temperatures.

Of course, there's your choice of thrift shop clothing available in the general store, and far be it from me to keep you from popping tags and looking for a come up, but I've also perused the same clothing and. [ he hums and sighs. ]

If you'd like some winter clothing that fits you better and has been freshened up for your use, let me know. Let's get you clothed properly, mm?

Anyway. Anyone here know A Christmas Carol? We have their permission to reuse their stage as we please, so long as we invite them to whatever we use it for. They showed us their own production, so I was thinking why not give back one of our own.

Basically for the same reasons you couldn't find anything that fit you, though. Granted you're much taller than I am, but. Even my height and build has it's limits when it comes to accommodations, where I'm from.

If you don't mind me getting some measurements, I can definitely make any adjustments you'd need so things would fit you properly.

Forgive me if this sounds silly, but I'm assuming you'd want some sort of currency in return, is that correct? If so, what would you be looking for? I just arrived here, so I don't have much yet.

That's sweet of you to offer, but currency isn't really a thing here. It's all about the honor system and sharing. Almost like a hippie commune, but definitely without the drugs.

If repayment is something you're set on, you could always just owe me back some manner of favor? If that suffices.

If by alternative you mean a means to repurpose the materials available that have been misappropriated for something that disguises itself as clothing, then yes.

They're just raw materials for me to work with at this point. Nothing fits me properly, so I've already needed to disassemble quite a few prêt-à-porter for the sake of making real clothing.

Is that like a demon thing? Or just a Crowley thing? I don't mind at all, if you could get measurements for me. Somehow, I think he'd be rather against the idea of my showing up to make him stand still. Standing still isn't something he seems to favor, much like Quentin.

But that's wonderful news! I could certainly use the help in replicating a proper script, if you trust your familiarity enough. I'll admit I probably should have paid more attention in my theater days, but I always found the musicals far more compelling to remember.

[It takes the Soldier a little bit to actually track down Eliot, but they do so half because of the smell of cigarettes and half from basically watching everyone for two months and noting where they spend most of their time.

So rather than a network message, Eliot will find the metal-armed-guy from the ferry crash last month, and from the dock repair, and from just kind of around peering at wherever he's sitting, and/or knocking on the door if he's at home. They look vaguely uncertain, maybe a little uncomfortable, but also a tiny bit hopeful. It's all very subtle, but still there if you look.

[ holy shit. eliot expected solicitations from the offer he's made over the network, but the last thing was expecting captain america's robot boyfriend to show up at the door of his cabin. and he looks just as scared and sheepish as eliot would expect someone who isn't all quite there to be. but like he could ever turn away a handsome guy like sebastian stan, especially being so damn precious while trying to learn more about tailoring (apparently).

Define 'freshened up'? I can usually tweak for fitting fine enough myself, but, like - don't let me get my hopes up for some good stuff when it really just means sprucing up some colors.

Well, I do have quite a bit of experience tailoring outfits for parties and the like, if that constitutes anything to your liking. Mostly, it just seems like Beacon could do well with something of a wardrobe refresh, if you know what I mean. Though nothing against any preferred styles, simply that, as we know, nothing in any oof the clothing shipments we've gotten constitutes the peak of fashion week.

You're the first to volunteer for anything specific, so I'd say it's first come first serve, if you know enough to have a preference. Auditions would be something of. A task. [ he chuckles amusedly anyway. ] I think I'd be lucky enough to get even the bare minimum of cast needed, so multiple roles probably won't be completely out of the question.
