Is that how you became a Vampire?

Yes, but it's more complicated than just that. You have to die with vampire blood in your system to become a vampire.

Vampires don't go around giving humans their blood where I'm from.

They don't do it much where I'm from either. Most humans who found out what vampire blood can do... Well, they didn't usually use the information for good.

Look just don't go doing real damage to yourself to find out.
Ideally, you want to find somebody to help you.
Somebody who can hurt you without risking your life.
You might come back most times here but not every time.
