How many of you have people from your own world here?
Because it's me and two of my friends

since this place is pulling people in from a few dozen dimensions, different points in time isn't really a stretch.

My friend died two years after we did
And apparently we were both still alive

and yeah, alternate timelines really are the easy answer before you ask.

But I'm not sure he's gonna be satisfied with that, you know?
Then he'll probably just think he's not my version of himself

i don't think this is the sort of problem that has a satisfying answer, though.
and given the shit the assholes responsible for this just put everyone through, agonizing over it is probably exactly what they want.
