I was at the radio tower, communications with the dome are nearly non-existent. The fact that they were able to get an SOS broadcast to us in the first place is impressive.

I'm sure if they could they would have contacted us. It's too early to give up hope.

still doesn't disprove my point. if that message was right and an alien that can consume worlds is down there, they don't have a chance. and we're down even more people than we were before. we can't even get their lanterns to try and fix them up, we've got no way of getting down there.

look, i'm just being a realist. chances are they don't come back. that's what happens around here, people disappear and they don't come back.

We survived the flood and the spirit attack during the feast. No reason to think they can't accomplish a rescue mission.
