> Hello everyone! My name is Pudding, and I'd like your help!

> I know everyone has their own preparations in mind with the incoming rain. If anyone is looking for some way to help and isn't sure what to do, I'd like you to think about where you usually get your food every day and prioritize keeping it safe! We have finite food resources and almost any food you can imagine is perishable if waterlogged. There are so many locations where food is served and stored I know I can't get to them all myself! That's where you come in ♡

> The most important thing of all is getting all the food to high ground. Besides ground floors, this includes getting things out of basements and cellars if there are any. Anybody who can go up and down flights of stairs or elevators or fly or whatever else there is can move food even if it's just an armful at a time! Everything helps! If you can get food from small and unsound buildings to stronger ones that would be an even bigger help!

> I know there are a whole bunch of you big enough or strong enough or both to unload all those big barrels and crates off the ferry. If it's possible for you to get them all the way up to second and third floors of sturdy buildings I would appreciate that sooo much!!! ♡♡♡ I can also use some strong hands and strong backs to knot ropes into nets and pull cargo up near the rafters so if upper floors do flood, all our preparations don't wash out through the doors and windows!!

> I'm used to shipping the food my family makes by boat, so I know how to make containers water safe. All the supplies still packed up from the ferry should be able to just go like they are, and ones that have been opened can be carefully repacked with food and carried to high ground too! I can show you how if you stop by The Invincible, where I'll be working on all the supplies there and trying to coordinate pulling from the Bed and Breakfast too.

Screws, bolts, and that sort of material should be at the scrapyard if we ran out at the general store. Store should also have the rope and tools.

I'd check the scrapyard for pulleys and hooks and those sort of things also.

Bring a treat for the dog.

Rosinante! Thank you! There's so much to keep track of, it's good to have other people's help pointing places out.

What kinds of treats does the dog like?

I'd try whatever dogs usually like. Meat, or bones. Toys to chew on.

...Hum. How big is this dog, exactly? I'd have to make sure I have a treat of the right size! Is it friendly?

Mm, about your height? Maybe a little shorter. Big. I've mostly kept my distance, so I can't say if it's friendly or not, but most of the spirits here I wouldn't consider friendly anyway. Should probably always be cautious around them.

Oh, a spirit dog! I guess its size could be just about anything including that, then. Still eats what living dogs enjoy? I'll see if there's a bone that won't last the flood, or maybe some leather that can be spared. It'd be easier of course if someone else was able to do the run while I keep packing up the food... is anyone else already friendly with it?

Don't know, actually. It's pretty out of the way. Not sure who hangs out down there often. Maybe people at the greenhouse know who's usually in the area, though - try asking Xayah, or Ephrim.

Thanks for the help. This is a good way to help us keep organized. I wish we had more supplies to help us prepare.

I think you could find some butcher paper in the kitchens. A lot of the tools and supplies you mentioned could be at the scrapyard, it's worth a look.

It won't hurt to try. At the very least, helping them secure their own wares might work, though to be honest I don't know where their wares come from.

It is easier, yes. I'm blind, using the text feature is pretty time consuming. I can do it, but if I can avoid it, it's a lot easier.

I have some tools that I've been using for my mech that wouldn't mind borrowing. I don't know if I'd be able to carry the heavy stuff, but I'll try to help as much as I can.

That's so fascinating. I've never seen one in person before! You'll have to show me once the rain ends. In the meantime, any tools and fastenings that work with it should certainly be strong enough to hold cargo nets and other rigging. That's so useful!

[ And lo and behold, he'll come up the way, long black hair in a tail at his neck, pushing... some kind of cart? It doesn't seem to be overburdened with stuff, since he did have to walk about five miles to get there, but he does look quite sour about having to walk about five miles with a cart. Also, a couple of spirits seem to have come along either to keep him company or titter as he struggles with the damned thing.

Well, he's not embarrassingly out of shape, at least. And in order to keep the cart from listing, he's gone ahead and unpinned his sleeve, and from the stub of his arm, he has physically grown himself... not a hand made of wood, but sort of an ungainly branch that has wrapped itself around the handle, effectively attaching him to the cart so he can push with both arms. As you do.

He pulls out the tablet and taps out the message to Pudding one handed, then looks at his situation extremely grumpily. Can't detach himself until he knows where she wants him to put the supplies. Damn. ]

[ Pudding has her tablet out on the counter while she works, so she hears the notification immediately and steps outside as soon as she's read it, wiping her hands on her apron as she goes. The expected person isn't exactly difficult to spot. ]

Hello! You must be Ephrim!

[ Then she catches real sight of the cart, and a beaming smile spreads over her face. ]

Oh, this is wonderful!! Thank you so much! Can you bring it inside? The door should be wide enough I think...

[ She doesn't even comment on the plant-arm, apparently barely notices it. ]
