eta; oh yeah, so his exploration thread is still ongoing which means he may or may not provide new information as it progresses. only time will tell. )

it looks like no one has lived here in years

but i heard from winters that the previous group's progress was reset

( it's likely that its default is supposed to look this way — abandoned and worn down. who can really say? )
