Hey. My name is Sam and I've been here for about a month now. [ Give or take a few days. ]

So, it's been requested of me and my brother Dean to help out a little where we can, using the skills we have. [ Not a problem there. But here's where it gets a little dicey ... it's no secret that he and Dean hunt the supernatural, but it doesn't exactly bring him great comfort having to publicly out themselves, especially given some of their experiences with the FBI in the past. Thing is, if it gains them a little credit to their offer, Sam sees no other choice in this matter. And hey, maybe they won't have to go undercover as agents and health inspectors anymore.

Here goes: ] I'd say we're both pretty experienced in combat and defence. Back home we're hunters so dealing with spirits like this is kind of our M.O. Haven't really figured out what manner of spirit this is yet, but Rastus thought it wouldn't do anyone harm to learn a little defence training, so we're opening that up to anyone interested in maybe getting a few tips from us.

Right now we wanna get a headcount for interest. More details to follow. If anyone's got any questions, we're here to answer them too.

Oh and one more thing: my brother and I are gonna be out of town for a few days if anyone's looking to see us in person. If all goes well, we'll be back soon.

There is already defense training twice a week. Multiple teachers. Can combine with those if you have different things to teach

[Soldat isn't sure if they're confused that these two people didn't see the notices on the bulletin about Javert's classes, offended that these two people did see them and thought they weren't enough, or curious if these two people did see them and thought they weren't enough because they have something different to teach.]

Hey Soldier, sorry about that. We're not trying to step on anyone's toes or anything.

We just figured we'd put it out there that there are a couple of things we could probably share with whoever was interested. In my experience, there aren't a hell of a lot of hunters out there in numbers and less with the kind of knowledge we've picked up over the years.

[ And the Winchester brothers have a ... (completely one-sided) complicated relationship where Rastus is concerned, where they're grateful for the items procured to them, but still unsure whether Rastus might mean them harm in the long-run. Kind of run of the mill Winchester stuff, really. ]

Yes that's great. We should definitely help each other. Just seems inefficient to have two different sets of defense classes. We could all learn from each other

What is the difference between a hunter and anyone else who kills

Well, it's not exactly so much about efficiency as it is about giving options

The difference between our kind of hunter and regular murderers are we don't hurt people.

People who kill aren't always just murderers. Could be law enforcement, protectors, soldiers, or assassins.

[Nevermind that Soldat still pretty much considers themselves a murderer, but that's still not a very nuanced kind of viewpoint.]

That still does not say what a hunter is compared to those things

We hunt monsters. Ghosts, werewolves, demons, witches, the Devil to name a few. If you're asking for a full resume with references, I'm afraid you're just going to have to trust us on this.

Also: wariness. Soldat's favorite people happen to be a demon (well, had been; he's gone now) and a witch.]

Do you hunt all demons and witches? Or just some?
