[ there we go- ]

Er! Right!

When I was with my friends on a mission, we all found out I picked up this new ability along the way. My friend, Dialup, had this super complicated name and explanation for it but, basically, I can talk to machines. If I touch them and reach out to them, I can understand what they're saying and they can understand what I'm saying. Usually, they can help me do stuff if I ask really, really nicely.

The problem right now is that it's not working here. I'm used to having full-fledged talks and it's not happening. My tablet is just repeating the same word over and over again and it's kind of weird. My tablet is really nice and all but it's weird.

I think that's the word! Yeah! It had 'Tech' in the word for sure.

And last time I checked on it, the tablet just says welcome to me. It's friendly and all, which is nice, but that's all I'm getting from them.
[ it's kind of unnerving for him, honestly. ]

They're happy to help me but there's not much else and that's the problem.

I'm so used to having a chat with the items that this is kind of creepy. It feels like it's stuck on loop or there's a language barrier between us.

Does that make sense?

That really sucks. :(

I was hoping I could ask the tablets some questions. Like who else was around and if they could somehow pull up their former owner's messages and stuff. So we can see what happened before and compare it to our experiences. It's hard to do what when I don't know if they even understand me or not. Ack!

I will! And I'll let you know if anything cool or important happens. :D

Thanks for hearing me out. Mr. Dick. Sorry if I took up too much of your time or something but talking this out is great, you know?
