( it's been a few days since the aurora event, but, Matt needed a bit of recuperating time. he spent a lot of time with a treeby in the cold, ok... anyway, he found something, or rather, was given something... and he figures he might not be the only one.

so here he is. )

During the aurora, someone gave me something. I don't know who it was, but it was a memory. And I think it was from Beacon before things went dark. Strangely, it's just audio, I've shared it with someone else and they can't see anything, either, but... you can hear a conversation just fine.

( Matt's bestie Cao Pi has warned him against being too direct on the network, so, he won't be, but... )

Did anyone else find something similar? We might be able to put the pieces together if we share what we know.

Someone gave it to me. And by the time I was out of the memory, I'm not sure there was any trace of them.

( actually, he is pretty sure, but you didn't hear that from him. literally, since he has proceeded to not say anything about it. )

I'm not sure who it might belong to, but it certainly sounds like it might be before things went dark.

It was talk of lanterns. I'm not sure it'll help much on the bringing the light back front, but if you'd like to experience it yourself, I'm happy to share.

A few. So far no word on many others finding opals from before the lights went out, though.

( does that mean there aren't any others that found one? or that they'd rather hold onto what they did find? he's not sure why anyone would do that, but, maybe there's more to be found out there. )
