I went looking to see if I could find myself another adventure, because as lovely as you lot are, I get restless when I’m stuck in one place for too long, and this is what I have. Now it’s not exactly a location or even a hint at a location, but she said, and I’m quoting, “That’s all you’re getting until the tablets have GPS functionality.”

[He clicks his tongue] I assume that’s… a very complicated way of saying “until we get a map.” [You can practically hear him shrug it off like it's not any big deal.] Anyway. Has anyone heard anything like this anywhere? And which of you arseholes is bored enough to go on what’s either a wild goose chase or some sort of awful trap? Bound to be exciting either way.

We're going to talk to some spirits to see what they have to say about this bloody music. They'll probably lead us to our potential deaths if we're not careful, but I feel like we've got a decent enough group to keep it exciting and not fatal.

voice teasing, ] I'd say leading us to our potential deaths is all in the kind of music they've been played. Out of tune melodies? I can see how we'd be deserving. It's why I haven't tried to play the ocarina since I got it.

To be fair, I was dead before I came here and by all accounts I might still be. It's very questionable, this whole plane of existence thing.

We have t-shirts. "I was actually dead before I came here." Except I was alive for only a few minutes before I was dead again. I hope I can still retain my membership.

I feel like we all had to have died to even get here, but you might have the more interesting story about the how. [aka "you first Kol"]

Nope. Can't say that I have. I know there's magic that can do that, but I never really had the chance to find out if it really does work.

Depending on the type of magic you do have, it works very well where I'm from. Requires a lot of skill, a complicated spell, and quite possibly a body.

[ not that he'd know. as established, he'd been ash—it'd been far easier to stomach. ]

So are you a practicer of magic?

Ah, well... I know a couple of spells, but they're sort of innate to my race. Just things tieflings like myself can do naturally without any effort. And I can read fortunes, of course.
