[Suddenly a melody begins to play, which nearly startles him. By the time, he collects himself, it’s already stopped and he queues it up again, and then repeats it on loop.] Right, so that is something I got from one of our gorgeous guests from a couple weeks ago. I went looking to see if I could find myself another adventure, because as lovely as you lot are, I get restless when I’m stuck in one place for too long, and this is what I have. Now it’s not exactly a location or even a hint at a location, but she said, and I’m quoting, “That’s all you’re getting until the tablets have GPS functionality.”

[He clicks his tongue] I assume that’s… a very complicated way of saying “until we get a map.” [You can practically hear him shrug it off like it's not any big deal.] Anyway. Has anyone heard anything like this anywhere? And which of you arseholes is bored enough to go on what’s either a wild goose chase or some sort of awful trap? Bound to be exciting either way.

[Come on, you know you wanna join him in some shenanigans.]

That's fair. We don't want any of that on this adventure. I want a respectable amount of exciting and as little death as possible.

I'd say not in front of the rest of this adventure, but do as you like. They can deal or they can run off without realizing it's an open invitation.

I say a lot of things, some of them are even true. Anything that makes other people uncomfortable is definitely true. You don't back down from something like that or people'll stop being affected by it, and then I'd have no fun at all.

So, is that a hobby of yours? Making people uncomfortable?

People who deserve it, anyway. [Molly flails his hands over himself.] All of this may be for the sake of my mirror, but tieflings already tend to make people uncomfortable, so why not just lean into it and make them have to look, and think about their biases. Or at least give them something to really be uncomfortable about.

And then, sometimes you find people who'll lean into it right back. That's always fun.

That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me. I guess we can still be friends who flirt and go on possibly risky adventures together.

I'm a nice person. And I'm glad to hear that. It'd be such a waste to lose such a good relationship in such a small place where good relationships are hard to come by.
