[ well, there's no way to say it, except to say it, so: ]

One of us died today. Big guy, blond hair. I don't know his name. I found his body.

[ that's his schtick, isn't it? finding bodies. ]

What I do know is that he fell on some rocks near the beach. Looks like an accident, no foul play. The fall shouldn't have killed him.

[ could've, if the bastard really were that unlucky, but it's unlikely. besides: ]

But it did break his lantern. Seems like Winters was telling the truth about that after all. Before anyone asks:

1) No, I didn't see it happen.
2) Yes, I checked for a pulse.
3) No, I didn't do it.

[ juST COVERING HIS BASES THERE ]

One more thing. I had to step away to get my tablet. When I came back, both he and his lantern were gone. No one else was here, I'm positive. They just vanished into thin air.

[ ooc | so as of today, rosinante ([personal profile] callada) is dead :C feel free to threadjack in this post and use it for discussion or whatever! ]

I mean, even taking a step back from the fact that Doc Ingram and Winters have already admitted they're not telling us everything they know, this place is pretty committed to making us unsettled. It might just be something as simple as wanting us to doubt our own senses. In the long run, that'd make us more susceptible to whatever mind games this place might have in for us.

[ altho he's also not ruling out the fact that ros might come back as a pod person, okay. ]

I've suddenly found myself with a lot of time.

But yeah, that thought had also occurred to me. Call me paranoid but I'm not sure that anyone that's apparently just known for "resetting" an entire town when it manages to fail at a mysterious task is good news.

If we get rid of the 'bored' qualifier, we've probably got an accurate description.

Time-sensitive's debatable when we've got people from different times, no? We could have a time limit, she might not.

See?

[ except dead, jesus, five. behind bars is enough. ]

But that doesn't mean I'm not waiting for her/it/them to tell us the grand master plan. Crazy tends to love that part.

LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN

From what I've managed to gather, mindfulness and a liking of convenience doesn't tend to come as part of the package, but just this once I'd be pretty happy to be proven wrong.
