[ well, there's no way to say it, except to say it, so: ]

One of us died today. Big guy, blond hair. I don't know his name. I found his body.

[ that's his schtick, isn't it? finding bodies. ]

What I do know is that he fell on some rocks near the beach. Looks like an accident, no foul play. The fall shouldn't have killed him.

[ could've, if the bastard really were that unlucky, but it's unlikely. besides: ]

But it did break his lantern. Seems like Winters was telling the truth about that after all. Before anyone asks:

1) No, I didn't see it happen.
2) Yes, I checked for a pulse.
3) No, I didn't do it.

[ juST COVERING HIS BASES THERE ]

One more thing. I had to step away to get my tablet. When I came back, both he and his lantern were gone. No one else was here, I'm positive. They just vanished into thin air.

[ ooc | so as of today, rosinante ([personal profile] callada) is dead :C feel free to threadjack in this post and use it for discussion or whatever! ]

I haven't.

But, I've seen people rise from the dead in graveyards before. Figured it might be an option. Though, depending on how long he's been dead, might have already happened.

Who said anything about zombies?

( his aunt would take umbrage to that term. )

Lately? I've called them Auntie. But, I think she prefers the term recently resurrected. She's not a zombie. She doesn't want to beat brains.

Well, she was a bit upset and a little dirty from being in the ground but other than that? Yes, she was absolutely fine. She's died and been resurrected before.

I would have thought you'd picked that up when I said teleportation.

Aren't you adorably ornery?

( sorry not sorry. )

Where does your teleportation come from?

And what are you that you can just teleport?

Why is that everyone's first guess?

( did he really give off the vibe of a wizard? )

I'm a warlock. Much better than a wizard if I don't say so myself.

Wizards tend to be associated with legend and fairy tales. And they're typically old men with long, grey beards.

And, as you can see or not because we are conversing via written word, I am none of those. I have the magic but I am not a fairy tale.

Probably, yes.

But, I do like to think a warlock sounds a little more...foreboding and cool than a wizard.
