the kneejerk reaction he has is to insist that's not true. remembering others, trying to keep their memories - the last things you have of them - alive and well is important. even if you didn't know them personally, just making sure you knew them is better than nothing.

I know that this isn't easy for you or Ms. Robin or Winters when he was still here but thank you for trying to keep us together in your own ways. [ he might have reservations about ms. robin but- well- he knows they're all trying to do what they can with what's ahead of them. ]
