Rosinante's world still has places of stone, I believe. I think "island" is the word. The only stone on Shora is at the bottom of the sea, and out of our reach, even if we wanted it. We Sharers make our homes on the floating raft-trees, though between our webbed fingers and toes and our breathmicrobes, we're as at home in the water as out of it. Living here has been... an adjustment.
