I had just mentioned to someone how after being here for so long the forest still didn't truly feel like a forest without the sound of birds.

It seems the forest spirits heard me.

I know they aren't truly the birds from home, but there is something nice about having that little bit of normalcy back.

So far they aren't dangerous or aggressive. I hope it remains that way.

The fact we still have seasons without a sun makes little sense. But I'm glad for it. Especially since it gives back something sorely missed from home.

A few of them, but I didn't try to catch one. They do seem to be acting like birds, not like the masked spirits around here.
