True, but those effects could've been achieved by much easier means than this.
It's easy to say something cryptic from an anonymous account, or to make a spooky noise and send it out.
Taking over another person's messages without having possession of their device?
Causing everything they send out to be corrupted?
That's a bit more involved.
Don't read too much into the phrase "signal hijacking".
No, that isn't what's happening here, that's not exactly how these things work.
It was a turn of phrase.
Everyone here is so literal.
