This is Wade. Doc Hicks and I wanted to put the word out that anyone who needs medical attention now or in the future can find one of us - I'm in Room 310 and Gene's camped out by the bonfire. We're in the process of establishing a clinic in the chapel vestry for the sick and injured. If you have any information on new medical developments from your time or have any medications from the future, please share them.

And lastly: if you go out into the woods, bring one of us along. That's what we're here for.

[ wade smiles when he hears the familiar voice - melisandre is a strange woman, one who was likely shunned during her time, but she seems to have a genuinely kind soul, and her knowledge may prove to be very useful here given that traditional medicines are in limited supply. ] I'd be glad to learn too. And I of you, same as before. ⟪ there's a distinct note of a smile in her voice. ⟫ The more familiar I am with the words for your medicines, the easier it will be for me to request them of Rastus as well. Heightening the chances, so to speak.

[ she raises a very good point. ] I'll write down the names of the most important ones and give the list to you when you come by. And some of the other things we'll need.

That seems a good course of action. ⟪ especially if she is granted a written list so she can, when in doubt, simply show it to the bird-esque nightmare. sorry rastus, you still terrify her. ⟫ If you are in a rush, you can leave the note in the –– oh, I was told the name of my room. We call it a sacristy. It's where our clergy prepare for a service. Do your people have a word for it?

Most all our services require flame of sorts, but all fire must be treated with respect, especially when one is lost in thought before a preaching.

I'd guess as much. A lot of the services in our world used fire, too. [ it's fascinating, how across universes, across realities, humans still seem to have associated flame with the divine... and he feels it here, too, if he's to be honest with himself. it's critical to life - and judging by what happened to commander donquixote, it seems that in beacon fire is also an external manifestation of it. ] I won't keep you any longer, but I'll get that list to you as soon as I can.
